The independent authority
You want to be a hunter. This is where you do it.
What Canadian guided hunts really cost, what the law requires, and which outfitters earn your deposit. Horseback and wall tents, real numbers, no sales pitch.
Non-residents must hunt big game with a guide in AB, BC, YT and NWT. Good. The guide is the whole point.
Real numbers
Cost tables built from outfitter rate cards and market ranges, not guesses. The whole stack: hunt fee, licences, GST, tips, travel, export.
Current law
Non-resident regulations by province, cited to the official authority and dated. We flag BC grizzly (banned 2017) and closed Yukon Stone sheep where others sell stale hunts.
Straight answers
Honest numbers and no sales pitch. We tell you what a hunt really costs, what the law really requires, and whether this season or next is your window. If a hunt is wrong for you, we say so.

Our Alberta hunts
We hunt the Blackstone and Wapiabi backcountry the old way: horseback and foot only, no motorized vehicles allowed in the territory, wall-tent camps, carrying on a 100-plus year outfitting tradition 3.5 hours from Calgary and Edmonton. Sheep, moose, elk, deer, bear and wolf.
